New machine crop conveyor belts for E.A.Broekema
In close co-operation with E.A.Broekema, Veendam, Leeenstra developed and produced two new machines for crop conveyor belts. With these innovative machines, the manufacturer of conveyor belts has an important head start in the market.
Improved production method
In 2009 Broekema was looking for a mechanical engineer for a self-developed and improved production for crop conveyor belts. Because of the use of own capable engineers and a wide experience with customer-oriented machines, Broekema decided to choose Leenstra. Whereupon in co-operation with the designers and control engineers of Leenstra, the design for the machine has been developed further.
Delivery and further developments
The first machine was produced by Leenstra, programmed and started up at Broekema. The operators could quickly work with the machine, the production rate was immediately correct and the sound level was lower. Subsequently, Leenstra searched for new improvements in co-operation with Broekema. As a result of application of new techniques, further quality control seemed to be possible.
Perfect co-operation
With these innovative machines which are not free available on the market, Broekema increases her position over the competition. For Leenstra this is a good example for a perfect co-operation with the client: no single delivery of a machine but a further development with the application of new techniques and methods within a production environment.

Two 100 ton gantry cranesportaalkraan 100 Ton
Leenstra developed and constructed two large gantry cranes for Spanbeton in Koudekerk aan den Rijn..
Handling concrete components
The huge cranes had to be able to lift 100 tons each. This makes it possible for Spanbeton to handle its concrete components. These concrete sleepers are used for Westrand Road near Amsterdam, the first double-deck road in The Netherlands.
Prompt achievement
The order was not only exceptional, it also had to be completed within 3 months. This has proved to be no problem for Leenstra. By now this remarkable feat has been pulled off; the cranes have been tested and they were operational right in time. Spanbeton is very satisfied about the whole procedure, communication and final result.
